In collaboration with its partners at local, regional and national level, the project will carry out actions aimed at improving the framework conditions and the implementation of tailored services.
Institutional framework and regulatory incentive:
In line with (inter) national recommendations, bureaucratic obstacles to investment will be removed, specifically in the implementation of national promotion programs. Other support measures, such as training and upgrading, will be optimized.
Market development:
The transparency of the products and services offered by companies in the Tunisian solar market will be improved, which will increase the positioning of companies in the Tunisian solar sector. In addition, the project supports innovation in the adoption of new technologies and business models as well as the entry of new players into the market. The insights will be published and made available.
Market consolidation:
Services at local level are developed. The players in solar market for the Sfax pilot region (ANME, STEG, city and Sfax governorate, representatives of companies, banks, consumer associations etc.) collectively develop and implement an action plan in order to promote investment. The insights and knowledge acquired will be available to other regions and representatives of the national promotion policy.
