A Saudi delegation, composed of Dr. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Sukran, Executive Director of the Strategy and Development Sector, Mr. Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Bazghi, General Director of Development Affairs Management, Mr. Ziad Al-Sabali, Officer at the Saudi Fund for Development, accompanied by Mr. Karim Ben Rejeb, Deputy Director of Programs and Projects at the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation, visited the headquarters of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME) today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

A working meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Fathi Hanchi, General Director of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), in the presence of Mr. Hassen El Agrebi, Director of International Cooperation at the Agency, and Mr. Karim Ben Rejeb, Deputy Director of Programs and Projects at the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation.

During the meeting, the role of the Agency in supporting Tunisia's energy transition was presented, along with the projects it oversees. Emphasis was also placed on the experience of the Energy Transition Fund, regarded as a model at both the regional and Mediterranean levels. The meeting also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of energy management, knowledge exchange, and capacity building.

This meeting is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to strengthen partnerships with African countries in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy through the Saudi Fund for Development, and to leverage Tunisian expertise in implementing South-South cooperation projects and trilateral cooperation.
