The National Agency for Energy Control (ANME), in partnership with the USAID Power Tunisia program and in close collaboration with the Tunisian Federation of Hotels (FTH), is launching a call for expressions of interest for energy audits of around one hundred hotels in Tunisia. This initiative aims to support hotels in identifying energy-saving potential, improving energy efficiency, and managing energy-related costs.

The scarcity of national natural resources along with the increase of energy demand leads Tunisia to initiate an energy transition process focusing on the increase of the share of renewable energies in the production of electricity in order to reach 12% by 2020 and 30% by 2030, in comparison to the current 3%.
