Regional Workshop in Bizerte: The National Agency for Energy Control and UNIDO Collaborate to Accelerate the Transition to Electric Cars in Tunisia.

The National Agency for Energy Control (ANME) organized a regional workshop in Bizerte on the support program for the adoption of electric mobility in Tunisia. This program aims to improve sustainable urban mobility and promote low-carbon transportation.

The workshop was attended by members of the program's steering committee, as well as representatives from the municipality of Bizerte and various relevant regional administrations. The workshop proceedings were supervised by Mr. Abdelhamid Gannouni, Director of Energy Efficiency in the Transport Sector and Director of the Electric Mobility Adoption Project in Tunisia, along with Mr. Yushinari Suzuki, representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna.

It should be noted that this program is funded by the Global Environment Facility and is implemented by the Ministry of Environment and the National Agency for Energy  Control, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
